What the offering is — and is not
Pachamama is the earth. An offering — a despacho — is thanks given back: coca, food, and the materials the family already uses. We arrive when they are ready. We sit. We leave when the work is finished. We will not invent a show for a lens, and we will not write a ritual script as if it were ours.
This is one day from Cusco. Transport there and back, a bilingual guide, the offering materials as the family specifies, and a shared meal if they prepare one. There is no overnight. The road home is part of the day.
How the day is held
We do not publish a minute-by-minute. The family sets the hour. You wear closed shoes and a warm layer for sitting still. A quiet gift only if they have asked for one. Photographs, if they are allowed, come after the work — never instead of it.

Leave Cusco when the family is ready for us. Sit for the offering — coca, earth, and the work they already do — then the road back to the city. We will not rush the hour or invent a show for a photograph.

The offering stands alone. It also closes a horseback day, or sits inside the complete highland journey with llamas. Those are the combinations we actually run from Cusco — not a list of add-ons invented at the desk.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a tourist ceremony?
No. We sit with a family on their ground. If it cannot be done without becoming a show, we will not run it that day. That is the standard.
May I take photographs?
Only if the family allows it, and not during the work itself unless they say so. Ask once. Accept the answer.
What should I wear or bring?
Closed shoes, a warm layer for sitting still, and layers for highland air. A quiet gift only if the family has asked for one. We travel with group first aid; bring a small personal kit for the road.
Can this follow a ride?
Yes. Horseback and Pachamama is three days from Cusco. The complete highland day adds the llama walk. Enquire for the offering on its own if that is all you want.
