1. Early Pickup
Collection from your accommodation in Cusco to begin the expedition.
2. Safety Briefing & Equipment
Comprehensive horse handling instructions and riding tips. Helmets and safety gear provided.
3. Expedition Begins
Start the journey through one of the four cardinal routes to Huchuy Qosqo.
4. Scenic Route
Pass by the beautiful lagoons of Qeullaqocha, Yanaqocha, and the Epiuray Lagoon viewpoint.
Enjoy trotting and potential galloping for experienced riders.
5. Arrival at Huchuy Qosqo
Reach the ancient Inca site with its four cardinal entrances.
6. Overnight Options
Option A: One-Day Expedition
Return to Cusco in the afternoon after exploring Huchuy Qosqo
Option B: Two-Day Expedition
Overnight at Huchuy Qosqo with optional ceremonies or camp in the mountains
7. Ceremony Experience
For those choosing the two-day option, participate in traditional Ayahuasca or Huachuma ceremonies led by experienced guides (optional).
8. Sacred Valley Exploration
On the second day, continue your journey through the entire Sacred Valley, exploring additional Inca sites and beautiful landscapes before returning to Cusco.
